Another amazing Tulip Season at Dalton Farms in Swedesboro, NJ! Every year by March I am so tired of being cooped up inside and so ready to take my sessions back outdoors. There's still a little chill in the air, but Dalton Farms fills you with all the warm spring vibes. So much color, so much brightness, so much fun!
I only do my family sessions one hour before sunset, however, Dalton Farms closes just before sunset, so I only shoot the last 45 mins before they close. It's crazy how much the sun changes within that hour! The session above was my last session, and the sun was literally PERFECTION. However, I do love how, depending on what time you schedule, your sessions looks completely different because of the sun. If you like bright and airy, it's likely best to schedule my earliest session, and if you like bold and colorful, you would benefit from scheduling for my latest session.
Aside from this being the perfect photoshoot location, it's also a great option for family fun! They have so many accommodations for your little ones. A huge slide, a jungle gym play area, big wheel tricycles, free hayrides, and you can even feed the chickens that live on site! There's also a handful of food trucks at any given time. We opted for an acai bowl and smoothies! Highly recommend Dalton Farms for a spring outing!
